Rebecca Schulte provides mindful based therapy and evaluation services for adults in Tampa Bay, Florida. From working with patients one on one to group settings, Rebecca has acquired the knowledge and skills to join her patients and assist them in regaining their mental wellbeing. Rebecca's area of specialty include: addictions and recovery, PTSD & trauma, and Couples Therapy. Specialized training Rebecca has received included but are not limited too, Gottman Level 1 to better serve couples in need, and Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to better serve trauma survivors, and she is a Masters Certified Addictions Professional. Through the years, Rebecca has volunteered her time and knowledge to the Tampa Bay community to improve the persona of mental wellbeing. She is committed to strengthening and educating the community on mental wellness.
Rebecca received her degree in Criminology with a concentration in Human Services and Administration from St. Leo University in 2000. She would go on to receive her Master of Science Mental Health Counseling degree from NOVA Southeastern University in 2008 where she focused on group and individual therapy for adults based off of their treatment plans, assessments, screening and established diagnostic criteria. After graduation, Rebecca would go on to provide and lead social groups for clinics for adults, and provide clinical expertise to health technicians, programs and hospitals. Rebecca has trained mental health professionals and implemented various mental assessments, evaluations, group and individual therapy sessions and contributed to the mental awareness in the Tampa Bay area. In addition, Rebecca has worked with children and adults with various behavior patterns and has assisted in their wellbeing and success.
From the beginning of her career until the present, Rebecca has worked on the front lines with her patients and the community using mindful based therapy and evaluation services. For more than 10 years, Rebecca has worked with her patients through their mental wellbeing to overcome and succeed. Through volunteering in her community, this has allowed Rebecca to gain much needed knowledge and leadership skills to help her patients and families involved. With years of experience and leadership, Rebecca is committed to utilizing her skills to help others succeed.

Maria is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician who strongly believes that healing can take many forms and roads. Her therapeutic approach focuses on supporting clients to break cycles that have kept them from experiencing the fulfilling, content life they so often long for/ they so often seek to achieve. She has worked in community mental health, as well as non-governmental agencies, providing mental health therapy services to people from a wide range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
As an immigrant to this country, Maria has first-hand insights into the challenges involved in retaining her own values, traditions, and beliefs, while at the same time adapting to those of a new culture. Her life experiences and professional trainings fuel her passion for mental health and well-being.
Maria has experience with individual as well as group therapy, and is certified in EMDR as well as completed several trauma informed training including the Trauma Conference in 2017. Some of her other trainings include a 40-hour training to work with survivors of sexual assault, as well how trauma affects brain development.
Maria completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology at the Universidad Centroamericana de Ciencias
Sociales (Central American University of Social Sciences) in Costa Rica and a Master’s Degree in 2017 from Northwestern University. Her orientation for therapy is rooted in psychodynamic theory. She specializes in a relational and Person-Centered approach and uses a wide range of tools and methods tailored to meet clients’ individual needs. As a trauma therapist, she values safety, autonomy, and collaboration within the therapeutic relationship, and is in constant awe of the resilience of the human spirit.
